Word has it Johnny Depp will be in town this spring to film the movie “Public Enemies.” The “Pirates of the Carribean” hottie is scheduled to be in Chicago March through May. Christian Bale co-stars so be on the lookout for him too. He’s already familiar with the city, though, as he spent most of the summer in town filming “The Dark Knight.”

Be on the lookout for Dennis Quaid who will be filming in Chicago this month. Re-shoots have to be done for the psychological thriller “The Horsemen.” It was shot last winter and spring in Canada. Chicago’s movie business is booming and is likely to continue through 2008. I’ll be keeping you posted on all the movies filming in Chicago this upcoming year and celeb sightings so be sure to check back for more!
