Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (ISFA) is proud to announce Get IN It MusicFest, an all-day concert to take place on Saturday, September 16, noon-10:30pm at Guaranteed Rate Field. The stellar lineup of hip-hop, pop and R&B acts for the inaugural music festival for a cause will include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Fifth Harmony, Prince Royce, DNCE, Fat Joe and a roster of hometown heavyweights including Jeremih, Lupe Fiasco, Carl Thomas, Felix da Housecat and special surprise celebrity guests and sports figures. The Get IN It MusicFest benefits Get IN Chicago’s network of nonprofit organizations working to prevent violence and support Chicago’s youth. Tickets, $35-$150, go on sale to the public Friday, August 11 at Ticketmaster. www.getinitmusicfest.com

A portion of Get IN It MusicFest ticket sales will be donated to Get IN Chicago, a privately funded collaborative dedicated to improving the lives and safety of Chicago’s youth. Get IN Chicago supports violence prevention programs in Chicago communities most affected by violence and poverty. The festival’s message of preventing violence and supporting Chicago’s youth will be amplified by performing artists and celebrity guests both in advance via social media and during the concert. Additional celebrity guests and sports figures are also lending their support to the cause.

“Get IN Chicago was founded four years ago to be a catalyst for change and innovation in reducing youth violence,” said Jim Reynolds, Get IN Chicago Board Co-Chair and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Loop Capital and ISFA Board member. “We are thrilled to partner with ISFA to work together in building a safer, stronger Chicago for the city’s youth.”

“Funds from the Get IN It MusicFest will support connecting high-risk Chicago youth with mentors, therapists and other necessary services to tap into their unrealized potential. We are incredibly grateful to have like-minded local partners such as ISFA who are committed to joining us in this important work,” said Dr. Toni Irving, Executive Director of Get IN Chicago.

“Get IN It MusicFest gives back directly to the community,” said ISFA Board Chair Manny Sanchez, Founding Partner of Sanchez, Daniels & Hoffman LLP. “It’s our mission to ensure that we serve as an important community partner while providing a world-class stadium and a great experience for Chicagoans.”

“We are very excited to launch this new endeavor with Get IN It MusicFest,”said ISFA CEO Anthony J. O’Neill. “We feel the range of artists will draw concertgoers and fans to the stadium from all over the city. ISFA has a long history of presenting successful concerts, festivals and other events, and for the first time, we are producing events ourselves.”

In the last 25 years ISFA has successfully hosted more than 2,000 non-baseball events with attendance of more than 52 million guests, including the 2016 Magnificent Coloring Day, Wipe Out Run, The Valor Games, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and America’s Night of Hope. Get IN It MusicFest, sponsored by WizPak™, will be the first original non-baseball event to be produced by ISFA at Guaranteed Rate Field.
