On April 23 from Noon to 4, we are inviting the young, the creative and the talented to the *UpWithChi: Spring it Out festival
<https://chicagocityoflearning.org/springitout> *to participate in a free day of music, fashion, open-mic, robotics, film creation and more.
The Maker Party, from Noon – 4, will be filled with hands-on activities that range from design and gaming, to art and robotics.
At 12:30 a special opportunity for middle school girls will be presented by Digital Youth Divas – a program connecting technology to fashion and dance.
And at 1:00, *an exclusive Teen-Only Lounge*, curated by CCOL’s Youth Council, will feature everything from computer science, to music-making, to Open Mic! Teens will have a chance to wow their friends, snap selfies and win mini-ipads and other great prizes.
Bring your friends and head out to Jones College Prep 700 South State Street, on Saturday April 23 to show off your talent and experience all that UpWithChi Spring it Out <https://chicagocityoflearning.org/springitout> has to offer.
