Director Steve McQueen, 12 Years A Slave, and actors Viola Davis and Michelle Rodriguez dined at River Roast for brunch on Sunday, 5/21. Steve and Viola both enjoyed the restaurant’s iconic Whole Chicken, which is wood smoked and carved tableside. Michelle enjoyed an egg white omelet with sautéed spinach and potatoes. Steve kept things simple with water while Viola enjoyed grey goose with soda, and Michelle sipped espresso and tea.
The three enjoyed conversation with the group’s other eight guests throughout the entire meal.
