You ever wonder what Justin Hartley and Milo Ventimiglia do during their offscreen time? Spend it together in Chicago, of course. The “This is Us” stars were not only in Chicago for C2E2 but also a little family time and not just with each other. The duo who play father and son on-air turned an on-screen portrayal into reality and joined Hartley’s parents Friday night as Hartley is a Chicago native from Orland Park. They were spotted at the opulent steakhouse Prime & Provisions as the group sipped wine and dined on the steakhouse’s decadent fare while enjoying the night out. Ventimiglia, who is a vegan opted out of the wine and enjoyed the vegan cauliflower steak instead. A source of the restaurant said, “The two actors couldn’t have been any nicer.”
Ending the weekend in Chicago, Hartley closed it out with a dinner at Fabio Viviani ’s restaurant, Siena Tavern. He was joined by three other close, hometown friends as they sipped wine and noshed on the Top Chef’s Italian fare. Word must have got out that he was in the city because unlike Friday night, Hartley was recognized by multiple fans throughout the restaurant. Without hesitation, he graciously took photos with anyone who asked and stopped to talk to a few others.
