If only real life played out as it did on television. This was sort of the case as Showtime’s “Shameless” favorite couple, Veronica (Vee) and Kevin, or better known in real life as Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey grabbed dinner at one of their favorite restaurant in Chicago, Prime & Provisions Saturday night. As the “Shameless” cast was in the city for their yearly Chicago filming, the on-screen duo took time away between filming to grab a bite to eat at the opulent Loop steakhouse. Hampton and Howey opted for soft drinks instead of alcohol, as they were going back to work, but did not skimp out on the meal. Both enjoyed oysters and shrimp and shared the Kansas City steak. Onlookers said they were in great spirits and laughed the entire time while they were there and could not be any nicer taking photos with fans.
Before leaving, the two took a photo with Executive Chef Joseph Rizza and posted on social media saying, ‘Prime & Provisions was one of their favorite Chicago spots.’
Later that evening, following filming his scenes, Ethan Cutcosky was spotted at one of his favorite Chicago restaurants, Siena Tavern. Cutcosky was with one other looking to grab some of Chef Fabio Viviani’s Italian fare following a busy Chicago filming schedule.
Also, could it be a coincidence or something Chicago Bulls’ fans could only dream of? Franchisees and beloved ex-Bulls’ players, Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade were back together both at Bar Siena in the West Loop Friday night. Before anyone starts speculating anything, it is believed to be a coincidence as the two NBA players were sitting at separate tables and left at different times. None-the-less, no one could figure out why they were both in Chicago and at the same restaurant and although only teammates for a season, the two have chemistry as they were spotted out later together performing karaoke.
