It was announced today that Denzel Washington earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his film “Flight.” My morning show cohost J Niice and I had the honor of interviewing the actor to talk about this movie. Not only that, but we covered everything from his marriage to whether or not he knows the Gangnam Style. He also talked about how he would feel if he was nominated for an Oscar around the 4:30 mark. Denzel also released this statement today about the nod:
“ ‘Flight’ was one of the most challenging roles I’ve ever had in my career, and it was an honor to be directed by Robert Zemeckis. It’s always nice to be asked back to the show, and it will be fun to share the evening with our nominated screenwriter John Gatins.”
