Before Jennifer Hudson celebrated her 38th birthday with an 80’s-themed roller skate party, the Chicago-born singer headed to one of her favorite restaurants, TAO Chicago with some family and friends for a pre-game meal. Decked out in 80’s attire, complete with biker shorts, a scrunchie and a Balenciaga fanny pack, Hudson and her crew took over a private table adjacent to TAO’s Quan Yin statue, indulging in platters of sushi and toasting with champagne and Casamigos. Earlier in the week, Hudson posted a private party on a charted yacht and had TAO specialties delivered to the boat for her guests to enjoy, including TAO’s Fortune Cookie for dessert.
