Kanye was busy here, in his hometown of Chicago this week. The rapper had two shows in Chicago (Tuesday and Wednesday) and even made time for a bite at Giordano’s with his fiance Kim Kardashian. Before indulging in some deep dish pizza, though, Kanye came through B96 to do an interview with Stylz and Roman and take pictures. Hear Stylz and Roman’s interview:

“The day after Kanye West’s second sold out show in Chicago, Hollywood power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted out and about in the Windy City stopping by Chicago’s number-one stuffed pizza spot. Wanting to show Kim a favorite taste of his hometown – real Chicago-style pizza – the duo unassumingly walked into Giordano’s packed flagship location at 730 N. Rush much to the surprise of diners and the staff inside.
Both dressed in all black, the A-list couple ordered up a small “Giordano’s Stuffed Special” (sausage, mushroom, peppers and onions) with a Greek salad and told the host they would holiday shop and be back in 45 minutes to sit down and enjoy their signature pie. Kanye then went outside and posed for photographs with several fans. Both seemed excited to get a break from the cold Chicago weather and also enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate before strolling off.
This is where the story gets really good…When their pizza was ready, the couple came back to sit down and enjoy their Chicago pie and shared with their Giordano’s server how much they loved the pizza and offered to take a photo with the staff when they were done! While Kanye went to pose, Kim got a phone call and stepped outdoors to take it near their car. Kanye called after Kim but she was out of earshot and he just took the photo solo and thanked everyone on his way out the door. The couple drove off.
More than 10 minutes later, much to her surprise, the Giordano’s hostess looks up to see Kim back in the restaurant standing among guests waiting for a table. Kim realized that she offered to take a photo and spaced out when she was on her call …and asked the driver to turn around and come back so she could to apologize to the restaurant. She then posed with stunned staffers before wishing them all well for the holidays and the duo drove off again in their black SUV. Everyone who interacted with the couple remarked how incredibly kind and gracious they were and how nice it was that Kim came back to take that photo!
What a fantastic example of showing holiday spirit in Chicago. Giordano’s offered to keep the new parents stocked up on Chicago-style pizza until their next visit back to the Windy City. (Giordano’s ships nationwide at www.giordanos.com)”
