CALLING ALL “TINY TIMS!” GOODMAN THEATRE HOLDS OPEN AUDITIONS
FOR CHICAGOLAND YOUTH FOR A CHRISTMAS CAROL ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 27
PHOTO/CAMERA OPPORTUNITIES: Reporters, photographers and TV News crews are welcome to record the day of auditions, which traditionally draws more than 100 aspiring actors who form a line outside before the doors open. Camera crews are encouraged to arrive between 8:45 – 10:15am for the best footage, including special access to auditions. WHO: Youth (aged 5 – 17) performers of all genders and ethnicities are welcome to audition for the 39th annual production of A Christmas Carol at Goodman Theatre. Available roles include:

WHAT: Performers should come prepared to deliver a memorized poem or monologue (one minute or less in length); sing a cappella one verse of a song, preferably a traditional holiday song or Christmas carol (no piano or musical accompaniment will be provided); and bring a photo and resume including previous theatrical and related experience/training (although experience is not required). >
