Over the weekend, actors Oliver Platt and S. Epatha Merkerson (of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.) were spotted at River Roast (315 N LaSalle St.). The two shared the restaurant’s iconic Whole Chicken, which is carved tableside. Merkerson ordered a white wine and Platt had an Arnold Palmer. They dined on the riverfront patio, enjoying the weather and the view.
