I was so incredibly sad to hear the news about former “Real World” star and Chicagoan Joey Kovar today. He reportedly passed away from a drug overdose this morning (for those who heaven’t heard the news you can click here). He was a huge fan of the B96 Morning Show and would often get in touch with me about his excitement for our annual Summer Bash which he loved attending. Last I spoke to Joey, he told me this was his year of staying clean and finding his spiritual path. I truly hope Joey is in a happier place now. He will surely be missed.
