A few celebrities are coming to town this weekend including Bruno Mars singing his big hits tonight at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. R&B duo Hall and Oates will be performing at Ravinia Sunday at 7 o’clock. And comedian Chelsea Handler is performing this evening at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. It was just announced she’ll be hosting a Late Night talk show on Netflix.

Several movies open this weekend including Jersey Boys directed by Clint Eastwood. I had a chance to talk to the stars of the show about what it was like making a Broadway hit show.

For the first time ever in the United States, The Flying Steps dance crew comes to Chicago for it’s Red Bull Flying Bach show. It’s a clash of cultures when the breakdance world champions perform to Bach’s classical music the next two weekends at the Civic Opera House. Buy your tickets HERE!

Saturday evening the Goodman Theater’s Scenemakers Board hosts its third annual Scene Soiree at the National Hellenic Museum in Greektown to raise money for teens to enroll in its summer theatre studies program.
