The Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac is tomorrow. You can head to Navy Pier which is the starting point for the 333 boats in this 333-mile race in its 106th year. It’s the longest annual freshwater sailing race in the world. More info can be found HERE!
If you like volleyball, there’s a few big events on North Avenue beach this weekend.Tomorrow at 11 am the Volleywood beach tournament and party kicks off. Watch players compete while musical act Jason Derulo performs. Today at 11 you can be a spectator or participate in a volleyball tournament hosted by Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and lots of other celebrity guests expected to be there. All the proceeds from this event benefit the Jay Cutler Foundation. (I’ll be playing in it).
