And animal lovers will be heading over to McCormick Place this weekend for the International Kennel Club Dog Show. Watch purebred dogs compete for the coveted “Best in Show” title. Also experience demonstrations of extraordinary feats of athleticism and skill by talented canines, dog fashion shows and pet-the-dog areas.  This event draws more than 10,000 dogs representing 160 breeds. Eleven popular Chicago restaurants will be preparing the Canadian snack Poutine at Poutine Fest.  Poutine is a combination of crispy french fries and cheese curds covered in gravy. Finally, a new roller derby club, The Chicago Red Hots, hold their season opener tomorrow at the Cicero Stadium.
