Wondering what to do this weekend for St. Patrick’s Day weekend?? Chicago has a TON of fun stuff to do to show off the city’s Patty’s Pride!
Here are the Top Four picks:
1) Chicago will be kicking off the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day this weekend by dyeing the river green, a tradition of more than 40 years. It starts at 9:30 tomorrow morning, a bit earlier than in years past. The best place to view it is between Columbus and Wabash.

2) Then head on over to the first of two St. Patrick Day parades in the city! Tomorrow’s downtown parade kicks off at Columbus Drive or you can hear the bagpipes at the Southside Irish parade down Western Avenue in Beverly. Both start at noon and are free but the green beer is extra.
3) It might be hard to imagine that spring is on the way, but you can get in the spirit during the Chicago Flower and Garden show – “Do Green, Do Good” – at Navy Pier this weekend starting 10 am tomorrow.

4) Are you a fan of the TV series The Walking Dead? Well you can say hello or get an autograph from some of your favorite zombie characters who are alive and well at Walker Stalker Con this weekend at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
