Tonight is the opening of the movie, Divergent, which was completely shot in Chicago last year. It’s a bleak futurist look of the world, but you can still recognize many of Chicago’s architectural gems. I had the opportunity to speak to some of the stars of the movie, and they reacted to the time they spent in the Windy City.

The musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opened in town last week at the Cadillac Palace Theater. This show only runs through the 30th so be sure to pick up your tickets before it’s too late. Tonight the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will honor Charlie Chaplin for it’s “At the Movies” series. Conductor Richard Kaufman will lead the CSO while Chaplin’s classic silent film “City Lights” is shown on the big screen.
