Last Friday, October 16, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, on their live TV show, challenged Ryan Chiaverini and Val Warner, co-hosts of ABC 7 Chicago’s Windy City LIVE, to a bet. If the Chicago Cubs lost to the New York Mets the Windy City co-hosts would have to bring them some of Chicago’s best pizza. Val and Ryan, fearless in their conviction of a Cubs victory, thought they were home free with their winning home team, and accepted the challenge.
After the Mets took a broom to the Cubs, Val and Ryan, not ones to welch on a bet, are flying to New York to eat some humble (pizza) pie on LIVE with Kelly and Michael, Monday, October 26 at 9:00 am (CST).
Giordano’s pizza is sending one of their chefs to the Big Apple to cook up the 30 pizzas that Val and Ryan will personally serve up to Kelly, Michael and staff.
The pizza bet segment will also be featured on ABC 7’s Windy City LIVE on Tuesday, October 27 at 11 00 am, when medium Theresa Caputo will co-host the show with Val Warner.
